About me

Certified yoga instructor and yoga therapist

Born in Belgium, I’ve spent over thirty years living in England, France, Germany and South Korea. Each country has been a journey: an invitation to adapt, reinvent myself and find new balance with my surroundings.

It was in South Korea, almost by chance, that yoga entered my life. What could have remained just a physical activity quickly became a passion. After becoming a yoga teacher, I completed my training  in yoga therapy at the Institute of yoga therapy (IYT, Amsterdam). Through this accredited program, I learned to integrate thorough knowledge of the body's systems, functions and main pathologies allowing me to create tailored practices to support each person’s unique health needs.

What is yoga therapy?

Yoga therapy is defined by the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT) as “the professional application of the principles and practices of yoga to promote health and well-being within a therapeutic relationship” (IAYT, 2016).

Yoga therapy is based on a key principle of yoga: the connection between body, mind, and emotions. Using yoga tools (movement, breathing, relaxation, visualisation, and more) it provides personalised, therapeutic support to improve well-being and enhance access to inner resources. It can also complement other healthcare treatments, offering a complete view of the person and their state of health.

Who is it for?

Yoga therapy is accessible to everyone, regardless of age or physical condition and requires no prior experience with yoga. It can support you whether you’re living with chronic pain, auto-immune conditions, or simply feeling confused and emotionally drained.

What to expect from a yoga therapist ?
